I am currently a Literacy Coach at Freedom Middle School (Berwyn South District 100). Having taught grade level six through eight (both ELA, Social Studies and Reading Intervention), I feel that I have grown as an educator. I have enriched my literacy toolbox by seeking out professional development as well as collaborative partnerships. My background as a Reading Specialist (M.S. from Benedictine University) has also been helpful in many areas of teaching middle-schoolers.

Personally, I am married and have seven-year-old twins. I am kept very busy outside of school with the Boy and Girl Scouts of America as well as baseball/softball and basketball programs.
